Proudfoot Makes a Stamp on Year 4 at Somerset College
In Year 4, we feel honoured to have the one and only Lucas Proudfoot visit and workshop with us this week. We all know that Lucas has published a series of books called “The Proudfoots.” We also know that he is a talented musician with his ability to play an assortment of instruments including the guitar, didgeridoo and the box drum.
Lucas grew up in the majestic Tweed Valley just down the road from us in Northern NSW, with his extended family, enjoying the life of surfing and fishing. Lucas took us on a writing journey, showing us how to generate ideas for story writing, and how to enjoy writing. The most important part of his author session was to use humour and share a writing experience together.
