The Sponsored Schools Programme - ensuring all children have the opportunity to develop their love of literature...
Over the years, students from as far afield as Nyangatjatjara NT, St George QLD and the Solomon Islands have been beneficiaries. First started by a group of likeminded families who shared the passion of literature with a couple of local schools, we now see the experience shared with an estimated 1,000 children each year. These students are transported, accommodated (when needed) and given the opportunity to attend author sessions at the Festival.
