Sophie Taylor is a Gamilaraay artist and co-creator of HOTMESS, a multidisciplinary art and performance project. With over 10 years of experience as a practicing artist and cultural workshop facilitator, Sophie has dedicated her career to celebrating and sharing Indigenous culture. She studied Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art at the Queensland College of Art (QCA) and currently works for a local Indigenous non-profit organisation, supporting her community through cultural programs. Alongside her work with HOTMESS, Sophie is collaborating as a costume designer with Karul Projects, contributing to innovative Indigenous storytelling through dance and performance.
