Peter Thornley is a proud First Nations man from Gunggari Country with a deep passion for promoting and sharing cultural stories through music, film and television. He has dedicated his career to working with Indigenous Australians to cultivate and express these stories in an emotive and honest way, while also collaborating with adverse range of creatives to produce high-quality content. Peter has worked with Screen Australia, Screen QLD, SBS and ABC to deliver professional audio and visual content for projects such as Languages of Our Land.
Peter is a senior teacher in the music and sound department at TAFE QLD. He has a talent for connecting with young people and has developed and led numerous creative workshops and events.
