The Bowie Family acknowledges the traditional owners of this area and their elders. The Bowie Family come from Badu, Mabuiag, Pulu and ErubIslands in the Torres Strait. Our dances come from Badu in the Torres Strait Islands where the sea and land have sustained our people for many generations. The songs tell stories that capture life, history, andculture.
